Corey appears on more than 100 recordings in genres as diverse as jazz, R&B, Latin, classical, house, pop, gospel, jazz/fusion, contemporary Christian (in Spanish) and musical theatre.
His film and TV credits include title music for the feature film, "Live Nude Girls" music for the film "Just Cause"; music for Showtime and Biography original films and the soundtrack to the documentary, "The Powder And The Glory". Corey has composed and arranged music for several late-night shows including "The Tonight Show".
Corey won the Los Angeles Drama Critic's award for outstanding musical direction, has appeared as Musical Director for many musicals and solo performers including: The Manhattan Transfer, Lou Rawls, Kevin Mahogany and has conducted orchestras from Los Angeles to Monte Carlo.
He is a founding member of the LA Jazz Trio which has recorded over 26 CDs and has performed with Chuck Mangione, Kevin Mahogany, Cheryl Bentyne, Richie Cole among many others.
He taught at the prestigious Berklee College of Music and is currently the director of the Escuela Internacional de Música Contemporánea y Artes in the Dominican Republic.
